Fang Wu, PhD
Assistant Scientist
Fang Wu earned her Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2004. During her Ph.D. research, she focused on crystal structure-function studies of Apoptosis-Linked proteins. Fang started her postdoctoral research training at Emory Center for Neurodegenerative Disease in 2007, where her projects include chaperone mediated autophagy in neuronal diseases and molecular mechanism of tissue-type plasminogen protecting neurons from death. Fang joined Seyfried lab as an Assistant Scientist in the summer of 2022, she collaborates with various projects on proteomic biomarkers exploration in neurodegenerative diseases.
